The Penn College Fed Challenge team represents the Department of Economics at the annual College Fed Challenge. Sponsored by the Federal Reserve, the Fed Challenge is a national competition where teams analyze macroeconomic and financial conditions and formulate monetary policy recommendations. We welcome all undergraduates interested in economic research and policy.

Our team has consistently advanced to the national championships every year from 2019 to 2023, placing second in 2013 and 2021. We are incredibly grateful to the Economics Department faculty for their enthusiastic support and mentorship.
