Recitation Instructors and Teaching Assistants: RI and TA assignments and office locations are posted in the main Economics Office and on the bulletin board outside 160 McNeil. Office hours are posted on the RIs' and TAs' doors. Undergraduate Economics Society (U.E.S.): All undergraduates interested in economics are invited to join this student organization. The society sponsors a lectureseries where prominent academics and business professionals speak about current issues in economics and related fielders. The organization also hosts a job and internship panel, organizes a coffee house during pre-registration to give students a chance to meet with professors, publishes the only undergraduate economics research journal in the country, and provides free tutoring. Economics as well as other courses) Location: 200 S. 40th Street, 2nd floor Free Peer Tutoring Program Tutoring services for ECON 001 and ECON 002 and for a select number of upper level economics courses is available at two Tutoring Centers on campus located at 200 S. 40th Street, 2nd Floor and Huntsman Hall. These services are provided by advanced undergraduate students and graduate students in group and/or private settings. The services are available free of charge to undergraduate students. Tutors for Hire: a list of Economics graduate students who tutor economics for a fee is available in 160 McNeil and on the World Wide Web at Graduate Student Tutors for Undergraduate Courses. The Economics Department provides this list as a courtesy to undergraduates. The Department does not run this tutoring service and makes no claims about the ability or availability of the tutors.
Notices of interest to undergraduate students in Economics appear on a bulletin board in the hall outside 160 McNeil. Meetings of the Undergraduate Economics Society and other events as well as job opportunities and on-campus visits by prospective employers are among the notices posted.
