The Department of Economics at the University of Pennsylvania will have one or more tenured or tenure track positions
available. Level of appointment is based upon qualifications. Candidates should show strong research potential and a
capacity for effective teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Senior candidates must show a proven
commitment to excellence in both research and teaching. Each candidate should send a curriculum vita, a brief description of
research in progress, one research paper, and information on teaching experience (if any). Junior candidates should also
submit three letters of recommendation. In addition, a short on-line profile at
