The minimum scores required in the Advanced Placement, A-Levels, or the International Baccalaureate exams for waivers from Economics courses are as follows:
Wharton Students who receive through AP, A-Level, or IB a waiver for both Economics 1 and 2, will receive a waiver for Econ 10. Waivers obtained through the AP, A-levels, or IB exams can be converted into credits after successfully completing Econ 101, one 200-level course, plus two other econ courses above the introductory level courses. Note that if a student converts waivers for both Econ 1 and 2 to credits in this way, and has a 2.0 GPA, he or she will have earned a Minor in Economics. revised November, 2006 |
